Shubh Labh Embroidered Lotus Hanging (Pair, 10")

A handcrafted pair of hangings, each shaped as an open lotus worked in bright pink thread with gold and white beadwork tracing every petal. Above sits a gold zari disc framed in pearls — one bearing the Shubh charm, the other Labh, in red Devanagari — strung on a pearl bead hanger, and each finishes in a gold-capped tassel of seed beads with white shell-shaped drops.

A Shubh Labh hanging symbolizes auspiciousness, good fortune and prosperity: Shubh for pure intentions and auspicious beginnings, Labh for gain and abundance. Hung at a main entrance, the pair invokes the blessings of Lord Ganesha, remover of obstacles, and Goddess Lakshmi, provider of wealth, to welcome positive energy into the home.
